Police organised Cyber Awareness programme in Awantipora

Srinagar, August 05 (KIP)-Police in Awantipora organized a Cyber Awareness Programme at Government Higher Secondary School Panzgam with the aim of educating students and staff about cyber safety and responsible use of digital platforms.
During the session, participants were made aware of various cyber threats, including online fraud, phishing, OTP scams, fake social media accounts, cyberbullying, and identity theft. They were also advised to safeguard their personal information, use strong passwords, avoid sharing confidential details online, and promptly report suspicious cyber activities to the authorities.
The interactive session encouraged students to adopt safe online practices and highlighted the importance of cyber hygiene in today's digital world. The program concluded with a question-and-answer session, where participants' queries regarding cyber safety were addressed.
