Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign held at Government Model School, Ibex Colony

Leh, August 14 (KIP)- As part of the nationwide Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, the Home Department, UT Ladakh, organised a patriotic programme at Government Model School, Ibex Colony, Leh, today to promote the spirit of patriotism, national unity and respect for the National Flag among students and the wider community.
The programme was graced by Chief Secretary, UT Ladakh, Ashish Kundra; Administrative Secretary, School Education Department, Bhanu Prabha; Special Secretary, Home Department, Tashi Dolma; Director, School Education Department, Tsering Paldan; Chief Education Officer; Zonal Education Officer; Director, Sainik Welfare; President, Ex-Servicemen Association; Principal, teachers and students from various schools.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Secretary Ashish Kundra highlighted the significance of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and emphasised the important role of educational institutions in fostering patriotism and civic responsibility among the younger generation. He said that such initiatives provide students with an opportunity to understand the significance of the Tricolour and strengthen their sense of national pride, unity and responsibility towards the nation.
The Chief Secretary also appreciated the participation of students and teachers in the campaign and encouraged them to carry forward the message of patriotism, unity and respect for the National Flag beyond the programme.
The programme featured a series of patriotic songs and cultural performances by students, which added to the spirit of the occasion. The performances reflected the students’ enthusiasm, creativity and respect for the nation and its national symbols.
The programme culminated in a spirited Har Ghar Tiranga rally, with students and participants carrying the Tricolour and raising patriotic slogans. The rally created an atmosphere of enthusiasm and national pride and conveyed the message of unity, patriotism and collective responsibility associated with the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.
The event reaffirmed the commitment of the participating students, teachers and officials towards promoting the values of national unity, patriotism and respect for the Tricolour.
