Keshav Chopra Organizes 110th Free Eye Screening & General Health Check-Up Camp

Jammu, September 09 (KIP)-Social activist and Chairman of Samvedna Society, Keshav Chopra, today organized the Society’s 110th Free Eye Screening and General Health Check-Up Camp at Co-operative Public School, Talab Tillo, Jammu, in collaboration with K.D. Multispeciality Hospital, Jammu, under the guidance of Dr. J.P. Singh.
The camp was inaugurated by Kuldeep Sharma, Deputy Secretary, Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education, in the presence of the school’s Headmistress, Smt. Anita Sharma. During the camp, students underwent free eye examinations, general health check-ups and pediatric consultations. Free medicines were also provided wherever required, along with necessary medical advice.
Speaking on the occasion, Kuldeep Sharma appreciated the efforts of Samvedna Society and said, “Samvedna Society is continuously engaged in serving the people. Bringing free healthcare facilities to the community is a commendable initiative. I congratulate Keshav Chopra and his entire team for organizing such a beneficial camp for schoolchildren.”
Keshav Chopra while speaking said that the Society’s objective is to take quality healthcare facilities closer to the people and make them available at their doorstep. He also advised students to limit their use of mobile phones and digital devices and take proper care of their eyes and overall health, Keshav Chopra said, “Our aim is to provide quality medical facilities to people at their doorstep. Samvedna Society will continue organizing such free health and eye screening camps so that more people can benefit from quality healthcare facilities near their homes.”
Anita Sharma expressed her gratitude to the entire Samvedna Society team for organizing the camp. She said that such initiatives are highly beneficial for students and appreciated the Society’s continued efforts towards public welfare.
