Sat Sharma Reviews Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, Calls for Stronger BJP Grassroots

Srinagar, September 20 (KIP)-J&K BJP President and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma (CA) on Sunday chaired an organisational review meeting in Srinagar, taking stock of the party’s functioning, ongoing programmes and organisational activities across Kashmir.
The meeting, held at Church Lane, was attended by BJP Vice President Dr. Shehnaz Ganie, General Secretaries Mohammad Anwar Khan and Gopal Mahajan, besides State Office Bearers, Spokespersons, District Presidents, Morcha Presidents and General Secretaries.
The meeting primarily focused on reviewing the progress of the party’s ongoing “Seva Sankalp Abhiyan”, being organised from September 17 to October 17 in connection with the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The campaign is being conducted through programmes and activities at the constituency and district levels.
Programme Incharges, District Presidents and Prabharis presented detailed reports on the activities undertaken in their respective areas and outlined plans for the next phase of the month-long campaign.
Addressing the meeting, Sat Sharma stressed the need for greater organisational coordination and sustained grassroots engagement. He said the party cadre must play an active role in taking the BJP’s programmes and initiatives to the people and strengthening the organisation at the ground level.
Sharma said the BJP has a clear roadmap for the progress and development of Jammu & Kashmir and called upon party workers to work with a collective approach to expand the organisation’s presence and public outreach across Kashmir.
He reiterated the party’s stated commitment to “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas”, while emphasising regular interaction with the people and effective coordination among different organisational units.
During the meeting, District Presidents and Prabharis briefed the leadership about organisational activities, ongoing programmes and issues emerging from their respective areas. The senior leadership discussed measures to address field-level concerns and improve coordination through structured planning and regular organisational reviews.
The meeting concluded with the leadership stressing the need for continued organisational activity, stronger coordination among party workers and sustained grassroots engagement across Kashmir, with the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan continuing through October 17.
