GDC Ramgarh Organizes Interactive Lecture on Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel

Jammu, September 28 (KIP)-Government Degree College, Ramgarh, in collaboration with J&K Police organized an interactive lecture on Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in connection with Gandhi Jayanti and National Unity Day.
The programme was held under the guidance and support of the worthy Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Meeru Abrol, with the objective of creating awareness among students about the life, contributions, and ideals of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and emphasizing the values of national unity, integrity, discipline, and responsible citizenship. The programme was coordinated by the Department of Environmental Sciences and NSS Unit “Prabha” of the college.
PSI Aman Sharma, In-charge, Border Police Force, was the resource person for the session. In his informative and insightful lecture, he highlighted the remarkable contribution of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel towards the unity and integration of India. He also discussed the relevance of Patel’s ideals and values in contemporary society.
The session was conducted in an interactive manner, encouraging students to actively participate and share their thoughts. Students Raghu, Vansh Bagal, Suhani Choudhary, Ashu Verma along with several other students, actively interacted with the resource person and participated in the discussion. Their questions and responses made the session engaging and meaningful.
A large number of NSS volunteers actively participated in the programme and contributed to its successful conduct. The programme was efficiently facilitated by Dr. Snobar, NSS Programme Officer, Prof. Brham Dutt Department of Dogri and Dr. Shivali Panjgotra, Department of Environmental Sciences.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the worthy Principal Prof. (Dr.) Meeru Abrol, PSI Aman Sharma for his valuable and informative lecture, all faculty members, NSS volunteers, and students for their active participation and cooperation.
The programme culminated on a positive note with a renewed commitment towards upholding the values of unity, integrity, discipline, and national responsibility.
