Meeting with Political Party Representatives Held
on Revision of Municipal Electoral Rolls in Leh

Leh,October 06 (KIP)- A meeting with representatives of various recognised political parties was convened today at the Municipality Office, Leh, in connection with the revision of the Municipal Electoral Rolls.
The meeting was chaired by Sh. Atul Singh Mankotia, JKAS, Electoral Registration Officer (ERO), Leh. Both Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs) were also present.
During the meeting, the representatives of the recognised political parties were apprised of the schedule for revision of the Municipal Electoral Rolls and the activities to be undertaken as per the notified timeline. The list of Booth Level Officers (BLOs) for the respective wards was also shared with the representatives.
The representatives were requested to appoint Booth Level Agents (BLAs) for their respective wards, in accordance with the applicable provisions, to facilitate effective participation and coordination during the revision process.
The ERO, Leh, called upon all stakeholders to extend their cooperation in ensuring a smooth, transparent and inclusive revision of the Municipal Electoral Rolls and to facilitate eligible citizens in exercising their right to be enrolled in the Municipal Electoral Rolls.
The meeting concluded with an emphasis on coordinated efforts by all stakeholders for the successful completion of the revision process within the notified timeline.
