SSP Pawan Kumar Receives Grand Welcome in Sankoo Following District Status

Sankoo, October 23 (KIP)-Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Pawan Kumar received a grand welcome in Sankoo after resuming charge as the first SSP of the newly established Sankoo district, following the grant of district status to the region.
The reception was attended by Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Sankoo, government officials, representatives of political parties, religious organisations, social organisations, and members of the local community, who extended a warm welcome to the newly appointed SSP.
The occasion marked an important milestone for Sankoo following its elevation to district status, with residents expressing hope that the establishment of a dedicated police administration would strengthen law and order, improve public safety, and enhance policing services in the region.
During his interaction with the media, SSP Pawan Kumar highlighted his priorities, emphasising the need to minimise drug abuse and curb criminal activities. He also stressed the importance of strengthening police infrastructure to ensure effective policing and better service delivery to the public.
He expressed his focus on addressing local security concerns and working towards maintaining peace and public order in the newly established district.
